About Northern Latitudes

Who are we?

Based in Las Vegas, NV, Northern Latitudes is a team of travelers who enjoy discovering new places, helping people and a good dose of humor. Through the years, we have had the opportunity to travel around the world, hike a couple of trails and make a handful of mistakes. From that we learned a lot of valuable information that we are eager to share with people.

Thanks to our home base location, we have spent a significant amount of time going across the American West. This has provided us with insights into the region, and made us discover some places that many people don’t know about. That’s why this website exists today. To help people discover new places, and provide them with tips to navigate this sometimes fun, sometimes wild area.

Our Logo

As you navigate through our website, you may notice our logo representing a bird flying. We took the inspiration for this logo from a real bird called the Arctic tern or Sterna paradisaea in scientific nomenclature. These birds have among the longest migrations of all animals and are almost constantly flying. This perfectly represent the mindset of travels doesn't it?

Since 2026

How do we work?

Each of our articles are based on our experience and information found on the web. Since places constantly change, we often check for changes in the attraction we present by searching the web.

Up to date

We strive to make up to date articles. That is why we try to update them at least once a year, and always write the last update on the articles.

No AI Used

At a time where AI has become so common we decided to not use it to make our articles. Although we recognize the usefulness of Artificial intelligence our website is made by humans.

No Membership

We do not ask for any money from you. The content we make is totally free of access for everyone. And although you may see some advertisements on our pages, we avoid making it overwhelming.

How can you help?

The best way to help us is to read the articles and share them with people you know. You may also use the affiliated link present on our website when reserving attractions. It costs nothing more for you, and it provides us with a little commission that helps us to make the website live.
