Honolulu has a hot semi-arid climate with hot dry summers and warm wetter winters. Temperatures do not change a lot during the year and generally stay in average highs of 80 - 90F and average lows of 65 - 75F. The average humidity is around 70%. Note that the climate changes a lot depending on the area of the island.
Best Time to Visit
Mid-April to early June and September to mid-December are usually the best seasons to visit Honolulu as these mix good weather with fewer crowds. Keep in mind that different seasons offers different advantages. For example, winter months are generally best for surfing.

How many days are needed to visit Oahu, HI?
The island of Oahu is filled with great things to see and experience, so a longer stay is generally recommended. A fair duration for your stay would be a minimum of a week. During our visit, we stayed for 5 days, and we found that this wasn’t enough to explore all the island has to offer.
Is Honolulu worth visiting?
We believe that every place is worth visiting, but if you wonder if Honolulu is worth the money and time, then the answer is a big YES. Honolulu and the island of Oahu in general offers a lot of activities of all kinds. Even if you are not a beach person, you will still find plenty to do.
